Birthday celebrations were held this past Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 17-18, at Silver Wings. Children and their guests enjoyed skating and refreshments during the afternoon sessions. Justin Capak Justin Capak celebrated his eighth birthday on Saturday with a Mario Brothers-themed party with a star decorated cake and pizza.

Madison Chock and Greg Zuerlein proved to be the hottest junior ice dance team in the world when they won the ISU Junior Grand Prix final last month in Goyang City, Korea. So seeing them at the top of the leader board after the junior compulsory dance at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships on Monday was no surprise.
